Body kits are made of either urethane or fiberglass. If you are living in an area where the weather is decent and the road is smooth then choose fiberglass. Fiberglass can be easily painted and installed. However it is prone to damages so be careful with your driving or else it will put a hole in your pocket by having it repaired each time it breaks.
Urethane on the other hand are for those who resides in an area where the weather is cold and road is bumpy. Urethane is said to be highly resistant to damage but once it breaks it can never be repaired. Another thing that you will be considering is painting your body kit. Will you be the one to paint the kit or are you going to the nearest auto body shop store to have it painted and installed? Fiberglass as mentioned is easier to paint and install by yourself eliminating further spending. Lexus LS 600h Hybrid Features
Lexus LS 600h Hybrid Features
With all the high gas prices out there hybrid vehicles are continuing to become more popular among drivers. There are a few luxury hybrid choices out there and the Lexus LS 600h Hybrid seems to be the most popular of those choices. Check out some of the features of the Lexus LS 600h and what sets itself apart from the other hybrids.
In the technological realm the Lexus LS 600h is stateoftheart for gadgets. With the car’s power train technology creating the 430 horsepower as well as the interesting gauges on the dashboard the vehicle is incredibly technologically advanced. Thankfully the actual vehicle does a very good job of reminding others that it is a hybrid not just a joyride vehicle.
The actual transition between the hybrid system or the actual gaspowered engine is relatively seamless allowing you the driver a level of peace you have never heard before. Because of that you can expect a smoother ride in your hybrid yet be aware that the electricity motor of the vehicle will only be able to go at lower speeds with much shorter distances.
The EV mode button in the car automatically turns the battery power to the primary source of power and makes trying to talk about several subjects as well. If interested know that it takes about 3 minutes to go to 25 miles per hour on a bad day.
As for the actual handling it is precise and soothing like any product from Lexus. Depending on the reviewer the review may run from “confident” to something more along the lines of handling a limosuine and being told I’ve done a good job. This particular vehicle is perfect for Joyrides.
The gas consumption of this particular hybrid is one of the best out there and the engine even shuts itself off while on traffic stops. The only thing to look out for is that like all other hybrids the air conditioning still runs off of the air conditioning which can cost a lot. The engine is definitely supposed to utilize regenerative braking so that way you can have that particular problem fixed later.
Gas Mileage and the “Green” Factor
This is a hybrid vehicle and as a hybrid vehicle from Lexus the luxury Toyota line boasting should be expected from the company that the hybrid is one of the busier streets where hybrids were released. As a result the windmill stopped moving around and they had a chance to talk. At lease there is no reliance for gasoline any longer.
In this case this talk about the hybrid’s success with being a hybrid system is one that needs to be spoken about. In this particular case those who are constantly driving the desire for a rest is more than acceptable. In fact you don’t need to charge your car because the vehicle does it for you. This particular vehicle is definitely one where you can relax and help take care of the environment pretty passively.
The emissions of the vehicle are much much lower than it was thought to be in conventional sedans and the gas mileage is also much better than that of a normal sedan. So without the greenhouse gases trying to ruin the atmosphere and the gas mileage making the car a worthy investment this particular vehicle is still worthy of praise for being able to have emissions that are 70 cleaner in comparison to actual gaspowered sedans.
Additional Features
On top of all of these other features the LS 600h has an interesting and valuable PreCollision System much like a system that can be seen in other hybrids and conventional vehicles by Lexus. This particular PreCollision System is the Advanced variety which is a much more upgraded version of the PCS. The PCS has the ability to retract the seatbelt activate the brake assist and help protect you against collision problems.
But those are not the only reasons to look at the LS 600h hybrid.
1. Quiet is the first thing to notice about the new LS 600h. The noise and vibrations that are simply commonplace with conventional vehicles are cut in half by the noise cancellation technology in the hybrids.
2. The backup cameras are available and visible in the hybrid alerting you to when pedestrians are close as well as radars that do the same. Even better there are lights to notify the driver that there may be something in the way.
This particular vehicle is certainly one of the more expensive models that Lexus and Toyota have to offer. At a starting price of 104000 that is a huge sum to consider purchasing a hybrid vehicle for. Then again this particular hybrid is much more than a counterpart and the price may be two to three times more expensive than a regular hybrid perhaps it is worth it to avid buyers.

Largest Honda Engine Plant Reached Milestone
Largest Honda Engine Plant Reached Milestone
In 1985 Japanese car manufacturer Honda opened an engine plant in Anna Ohio and on the 21st of this month the facility produced its 15 millionth engine. The Anna engine plant is currently the largest Honda engine assembly facility. Reaching that milestone is further complemented by an expansion in the facility which will surely provide more individuals with jobs.
Honda is currently investing 75 million in expanding the Anna engine plant. The expansion will enable the plant to produce connecting rods and camshafts as the expansion is completed. The completion of the expansion is expected by the end of the year. Currently the connecting rods and camshafts of Honda engines are being produced in Japan.
Dan Smith the Honda of America Vicepresident and plant manager of the Anna engine assembly facility has this to say at the celebration of the production of the 15 millionth engine: Today we are not only celebrating a production milestone but the efforts of our associates past and present to satisfy 15 million customers. He added that: Engines power our products. But people power our engines and the outstanding efforts of Honda associates in Ohio are the reason we continue to invest in the expansion of our operations.
The milestone engine is a sixcylinder engine which will be the power behind a Honda Accord Coupe which will be built at the Marysville Auto Plant located just 45 miles from the Anna engine plant. The largest engine plant that Honda owns has three assembly lines and two foundries. These foundries are for aluminum and for ferrous castings. The expansion will increase the total number of parts that the facility produces. Currently the production facility manufactures drive shafts connecting rods brake components and engine blocks. Aside from supplying engine to the Marysville auto assembly plant the Anna engine assembly facility will also be the supplier of Honda engines to the Honda Manufacturing of Indiana which is on its way to completion. The Anna engine plant is expected to supply the new Honda auto assembly factory its needed engines by the fall of next year.
With the expansion of the Anna engine plant it is easy to see that the facility can supply both the Marysville and the Indiana facility with engines. Currently the Anna engine assembly plant can produce 1.15 million engines per year. It was calculated that at that rate the facility will reach the 15 million mark again after 13 years. The facility produces different engines for various Honda car models built in the United States. These models are the Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe Civic Sedan Coupe and Si Element Ridgeline and the CRV.
The engine plant also produces engines for Hondas luxury division Acura. The Acura MDX and CSX are the two models supplied with powerplants by the Anna engine plant.
As far as milestones are concerned the Marysville car assembly plant will also be reaching a milestone of their own later this year. The said assembly facility is the site where the first Japanese car was made in the United States. That first car is an Accord and it rolled off the Marysville assembly line 25 years ago. The commemoration of that milestone coincides with the production of 2008 model year Accord at the said facility.
Currently the engine assembly facility in Anna has more than 15000 employees from the state of Ohio. Aside from providing jobs for individuals in the state Honda also has more than 6.2 billion worth of investment in the said state. The Anna engine plant alone represents an investment of 1.4 billion after it was expanded many times over its 22 years of existence.
